As the
Fragrance of wet sand
storms gently into my bronchi
and settles invisible layer by visible layer
lung by lung,

and gentle whiffs of strong air brush past me,
the past passes me

night daisy
like night rain
flowers at a pace,
jogs me down
memory lane,

when once i was
right there
in the middle of nowhere
reminding me
where i am
in the middle of nowhere
