haughty eyelids fight each other
as melody scoops in towards them in
two directions
from the ears
and as they resist each other,
a battle begins
beneath
them-
cold gazing,
muscle wrenching,
nausea fighting and
heavy breathing -
between blood cells, there's bloodshed!
